Can you imagine a location more industrial than an old decomissioned powerplant relay station?... No, you can't. Luckily, such a location exists and can be found in Zwevegem Belgium, next to city of Kortrijk.

Now, Take that location, drop in the best techno DJ's, an energetic crowd, a high end sound system, tons of fog and top it of with 30m of high powered high density ledstrips. Result: the perfect coctail for 2 days of hard party, called Voltage Festival. The stage, hosted and decorated by RIMBU on saturday and by OHM on sunday, made everybody shiver.

I designed a wide low hanging LEDstrip sculpture, wired it all together with 100m of cable, mapped it over artnet with madmapper and drove the animations with VDMX. Apa102c type Ledstrips were used, with a density of 144Leds per meter. The total instalation consisted of 4.320 LEDS, driven over dmx 16 universes. You could literaly taste the electricity in the air.
